Managing passwords, sign-ins, and two-factor authentication is a pain. We all want to avoid these issues.

Google hinted at a future in which  for an easier going password-free experience on the Android and Chrome platforms.

Passkeys is a mobile browser extension that enables you to securely and quickly unlock your favorite services.

The idea of not entering our login credentials before accessing an account may intimidate some and sound like dangerous.

But when you take a closer look at what Google is doing , it's not that hard to see how these systems are different.

"passkey" links up with your personal information You don’t need passwords, which can easily be forgotten or hacked.

The Google Password Manager will sync your passkeys so that you don't need to worry about remembering them. 

Plus, the service is end-to-end encrypted, so even if Google has access to your and passkeys, it can't get into your accounts.

Android and Chrome are working together to make this a reality, and we hope that other companies will follow suit.
